Most of the cartoons, photos, and videos that we used in our project framed gun-enthusiasts as rednecks, crazy people, hunters, outback/country folk, and gangsters. We noticed this stereotype in more than just the cartoons we analyzed but also in outside sources and media. The cartoon analyzed showed that the issue of gun control was framed evenly from either a pro-gun or an anti-gun standpoint. The cartoonists' motives for their work are most likely their own views on this issue, or views they see popular or important to address.
